Full Job Description

Job Duties

– Joins, fabricates, repairs stainless steel metal material by applying GTAW welding techniques
– Interprets and follows ACI drawings or blueprints, Manufacturing Process Plan and Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS)
– Inspects completed welds to determine structural soundness
– Works with supervisor to strive for continuous improvements of processes
– Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications
– GTAW welding process knowledge
– Thin stainless steel sheet metal pressure vessels welding experience preferred
– Prior assembly experience is preferred
– Aerospace experience
– AWS D17.1 Certification or equivalent

Education and/or Experience preferred
– High School or GED is preferred
– 3 to 5 years of experience

– Accurate

Physical Requirements
– Lifting up to 50 pounds
– Alternate sitting and standing
