HEARTLAND is currently seeking a B-Pressure Hand Welder Journeyperson to join the CNRL Horizon Maintenance project team on site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a full-time, permanent position on a 7/7 shift schedule.
Welders join or sever metals in beams, girders, vessels, piping and other metal components, make metal parts used in construction and manufacturing plants, and weld parts, tools, machines and equipment.
Responsibilities:
Develop patterns for projects or follow directions given in layouts, blueprints and work orders.
Clean, check for defects and shape component parts, sometimes using a cutting torch.
Weld parts together.
Requirements:
Certified Journeyperson and/or holds a valid recognized credential
Alberta B Pressure ticket or equivalent if from another province.
F3/F4, All positions

Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or CSTS-09
Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space Entry
Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection

This is a fly-in/fly-out position from Calgary or Edmonton and as such will be subject to the Government of Canada’s mandatory COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
