JOB TITLE: Welder
- EMPLOYER: Engineered Yacht Solutions
DEPARTMENT: Welding
REPORTS TO: Project Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- TIG and MIG Welding of Aluminum and Steel & Stainless Steel
- Work on welding/fabrication projects in the shop and on vessels.
- Travel to vessels when necessary to complete work.
- Read blueprints and specifications to plan work and fabrication layout
- Performs hand grinding and polishing, prepare materials
- Exceeds quality standards
- Complete all required paperwork including labor reporting
- Work safely & maintain work area with high standards of housekeeping.
- Heating – Oxygen/Propane Heating Torch.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One to two years of related experience or equivalent.
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Ability to lead a team and assist the Project Manager.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
