Overview
A full-time position is available at a growing, family run manufacturing business for a shop labourer at Bokor Manufacturing Inc. (www.bokormfg.com). Some welding experience an asset – but will work with successful candidate to train. The successful candidate must be willing to train and learn on all shop equipment.
Terms of Employment: Permanent Full Time; Monday-Friday 8 am-5pm.
Anticipated Start Date: Immediately
Location: rural Blenheim, Ontario
Starting Salary Range: $19.00/hr – $23.00/hr (based on experience) + opportunity for year-end bonus.
Duties: Assist manufacturing crew with Sheer, Press Break, Automatic Saw, CNC router table, parts assembly, aluminum welding, heavy lifting required (50+ lbs), product assembly. General working knowledge of all shop tools required.
Experience: Please indicate specific manufacturing or machine experience you have on resume and cover letter.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment; working mostly indoors (climate controlled shop = AC), but sometimes outdoors; excellent attendance required, ability to work with little to no supervision, ability to work in team environment required, ability to consistently lift 30-40 lbs. required.
Transportation: Valid driver’s license and means of daily transportation.
Own Tools/Equipment: CSA approved steel-toed, construction rated safety boots
