1st and 2nd shift available. $2.00/hr premium for second shift.
- Structural welders create the metal framework for buildings and bridges as well as cut and repair beams, columns, and girders. They work for construction companies, manufacturers, ship builders, mining companies, oil and gas companies, and aerospace industries
Able to lift up to 50 pounds • Safety Conscious • Have good attendance • Able to work overtime • Have knowledge of drawing language and symbols (for Fitter position) • Are able to use steel hand working tools • Previous welding experience preferred • Pass a welders certification test • Have the ability to safely operate overhead cranes • Knowledge of minor welding machine maintenance is helpful • Knowledge of oxy/acetylene torches and measuring devices, i.e. tapes, squares and level
