Welder – Forklift

We are an established company specializing in industrial/commercial construction, with projects throughout the United States. We are seeking welders and fitters responsible for fitting and welding steel, aluminum, and stainless-steel parts. Also required to perform other miscellaneous tasks, as assigned by his supervisor.

Duties, and responsibilities of the position:
Measure and mark work pieces using straightedges, rules, and calipers

Cut and smoothen metal components using plasma cutters, portable grinders, lathe, and milling machines

Read and interpret blueprints and production drawings to lay out a welding project

Operate forklifts/cranes and use them in conveying work materials to the welding site

Collaborate with project managers and welding supervisors to ensure smooth work operations

Maintain welding safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a risk-free work environment

Weld materials in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions

Requirements:
Experience with steel, aluminum, and/or stainless steel required

Ability to identify and measure material

Ability to follow instructions given both verbally and in written form

Forklift certified is a plus

Job Type: Full-time, Contract

Additional Payment: $80/Per diem if your commute to work is more than 30 Miles way
