Overview

Job Summary: Produce quality parts as specified by Production Supervisor and to customer specifications. As well as work with Manager, Supervisor and co-workers to keep a safe and clean place to work.

Essential Duties:

  • Study job orders and/or interpret blueprints to determine machining operation to be performed with minimal supervision.
  • Operate brazing and soldering equipment to bond metal parts or to fill holes, ensuring a clean weld.
  • May be required as well to operate and set-up machines to perform operations, including, but not limited to, cutting, bending, end-forming, drilling punching; with minimal scrap.
  • Verifying dimensions of parts produced using appropriate measuring instruments.
  • Clean work areas and equipment.
  • Pick up tools and reports any tool breakage.
  • Suggest production improvements and report any errors or mistakes.
  • Maintain an acceptable level of production.
  • Maintain a safe work environment and report any policy and safety violations.
  • Sign off on all jobs performed
  • Perform other duties required by Production Supervisor.

Work Experience Requirements:

1 to 2 years

Education Requirements:

Able to read measuring devices (e.g. calipers, tape measure)

  • Able to read blue prints
  • High School Diploma
  • Basic Math Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
