About the Job:
We are seeking a Welding Apprentice for work within our construction and refurbishing crew on an industrial project, some of the tasks may include:
Set up and operate welding equipment and fabricating machines
Build, weld, fit and assemble components and equipment
Fabricate parts required during rebuilds and installs
Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications
Operate machining tools to fabricate parts
Skills and Experience:
Excellent communication skills, good attitude and willing to learn
Industrial experience would be an asset
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Exceptional interpersonal skills.
Able to demonstrate multitasking skills and deal with a rapidly changing work environment.
Adhere to all company safety policies and practices.
Well organized and able to work with minimum supervision.
Valid drivers license with ability to travel to and from job site.

This position is based out of Prince George on a Monday – Thursday shift.
