Overview
Acara Solutions is hiring Solderers/Brazers in Mississauga.
Shift – 6:45am – 3:30pm
Pay Rate – $18.80/hr.
Full Time – Monday – Friday
Primary Roles & Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret drawings and work orders in order to determine components, valves and soldering required to complete work according to job specifications
- Assemble, align, and clamp various sized copper pipes and valves onto coil or riser units to solder and/or braze components
- Complete tasks while ensuring performance targets and company’s quality standards are maintained
- Maintain proper and accurate documentation of production
- Performs regular equipment operation checks and reports maintenance requirements or defects to the Supervisor
- Follows ‘Safety First’ philosophy
- Performs proper housekeeping and clean-up of welding booth
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience with Oxy-Acetylene Soldering/ Brazing
- Must be able to use hand and pneumatic tools
