Overview
Phoenix Mining Is looking for Certified Welders and Certified Mechanics to work with the Komatsu Equipment shops in Eastern Australia.
The Schedule will be Monday through Thursday with a possibility for overtime. It will be 8-to-12-hour shifts that rotate between Days, Afternoons, and Nights. Pay is 60.00 Australian dollars per hour.
These positions require a minimum of 3 years of experience.
Welders will have to pass a structural welding test of Australian standards, medium to heavy fabrication experience, ability to interpret drawings.
Mechanics will have to pass a mechanical/hydraulic aptitude test to Australian requirements. Experience with Fabrication, re-building, and maintenance of coal mining equipment is preferred.
To obtain an Australian work visa candidates must pass an extensive background check, drug screen, and physical examination. These positions also require that you have a current U.S. passport.
We are requesting a 2-year commitment for these positions.
Work is slated to start March 1, 2023
