Day Shift runs Monday to Thursday 7am to 530pm (4 – 10 hour shifts)
Afternoon Shift runs Monday to Thursday 4:45pm to 2:15am (4 – 10 hour shifts) Afternoon shift premium is $1.50/hour
Weekend Shift runs Friday to Sunday 6:00am to 6:00pm with a shift premium of $2.25/hour.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Weld Flux core (all position) and metal core (flat)
Fit and fabricate cranes and crane related parts as per blueprints
Ability to use grinder, die grinder, oxy acetylene torch, forklift, overhead crane
Ability to find and repair weld defects
Keep work area clean and free of hazards
Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner
Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Secondary school diploma or high school equivalent as a minimum
Minimum 2 years’ experience in structural steel fitting and welding
Mechanically inclined
Able to work well independently or in a group
