INCENTIVE, RETENTION & TRAVEL ALERT!
The Incentive Program consists of an additional $80/day for this position – paid weekly. To receive incentive, “days worked” will be defined as minimum 4 hrs of work on site.
The Retention Program offers an additional $25/day, paid by January 31st, 2023 (or following corresponding pay period), or upon release by the employer (end of project).
Temporary Travel Allowance Program effective until January 31st, 2023.

Heartland Constructors Inc. is seeking B-Pressure Welders to join the site maintenance team at IOL Kearl. This position is on a 14/14 rotation, 11.5 hours per day. Charter flights are provided from Calgary and Edmonton as well as bussing from Fort McMurray. Camp accommodations are provided for those on shift.
Responsibilities:
Weld up to 30 inches (FDI) per day by-hand when material is available (some welds may be customized while others may be repetitive procedures to complete the work)
Use welding processes such as SMAW and FCAW to weld pressure piping
Follow various company policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements:
Journeyperson Certificate of Completion in the Welding trade
Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09 or 2020) Certification
Fall Protection
Confined Space
Basic Rigging
First Aid – Level A or C
Valid Driver’s License
Welding tickets and/or welder performance qualification testing required – as per Site’s Performance Qualification testing of welder’s guideline:
