Kiewit is hiring a Welder/Boilermaker/Fitter for subcontractor: GanoTech for the Sumas Terminal Segment located in Abbotsford, BC
Requirements
- Specialized skill set of welding/boilermaking/fitting
- Must be registered APP/JM
- Experience with LT7 welding (roof plates) – SAW
- E-7018
- Plate thickness from 3/16” to 0.996”
- Experience with Automatic Grid Machines
- Seam Tracker, Buggy or Bulcos with Submerged Arc Welding (SAW)
- Greenfield tank experience (i.e. experience with building a new tank)
Shift information
- Monday – Friday, 10 hours, overtime after 8 hours everyday
- Depending on work, there may be additional overtime required
- Must be willing to work weekends when required
- Flexibility to workday or night shift

Project Information
The Trans Mountain Expansion Project is a Kiewit and Ledcor Partnership, which includes 35km of pipeline from Langley to Burnaby and includes four terminals. This is a multi-billion dollar project that is estimated to take 3+ years to complete.
