Job description

We are currently looking to hire a Part Time or Contract TIG/MIG Welder to join our team. You must be a team player with the relevant experience as a stainless steel tig welder.

Summary of Duties:

· Must have the ability to interpret welding blueprints, drawing specifications,

· Knowledge of heat displacement and the way material react when heated

· Experience with small power tools, bench grinders etc..

· Working in a fast-paced environment

· Self awareness and PPE protected

· Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications and abide by quality control standards

· Able to cope with high pressure situations, and deadlines

Education and Experience:

· Education: Welding/Fabrication certification preferred

· Experience: 2+ years in Stainless Steel TIG welding

· Must have the ability to interpret welding blueprints, drawing specifications,

· Ability to work independently with minimum experience

· Work as part of the production team

Duties for this position;

· Reads, interprets, and follows drawings

· Cut and fabricate stainless for welding

· TIG weld stainless steel parts according to drawings

· Maintains work area in a neat and orderly manner to facilitate efficient processes and good safety practices

· Carries out other duties as assigned

Work hours are Monday to Friday 7am to 3:00 pm with some overtime available.

The position available can be for full time, part time, or temporary contract

Salary: based on experience
