Overview
The position requires Machine Operator/Fabricator with previous experience working in a custom production and manufacturing environment that has 1 – 3 years experience with operating machinery and MIG welding (preferably aluminum).
Responsibilities:
Welding aluminum with (MIG), using machines such as knuckling machine, metal dishing machines, flanging machines, large metal roller, brake presses, shears, grinders, bevellers, torches & hand plasmas
Read blueprints & apply drawings to custom fabrication
Build bulkheads and skins for highway tankers
Material handling with forklift
Assisting tank builders with day-to-day activities
Skills:
Work from blueprints and raw materials to finished parts that can be welded together into complete products
Candidate must be flexible, reliable and punctual
Previous experience working on custom pieces and be comfortable working with aluminum considered an asset
Work schedule:
Monday to Friday – 8:00am – 5:00pm
