Overview
Our client is a leading exhaust fan manufacturer located in Woodbridge, currently looking for an experienced Senior Spot Welder to work in their sheet metal fabrication plant facility.
Shift Time: Mon-Fri, 8am – 4.30pm, ½ an hour Lunch
Pay Rate: Competitive starting salary.
Responsibilities
- Operate spot welder (single/multi-head)
- Ensure equipment is set up properly according to specifications
- Check and test welds
- Clean tips when necessary
- Complete all paperwork and data entry as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by Lead Hand or Supervisor
- Produce quality welds as per drawings/work instructions and customer requirements
- Follow work instructions, read drawings, and maintain standard times
- Check and test welds as per department procedures and quality standards
- General housekeeping and day to day tool maintenance to ensure equipment is working properly
- Complete all paperwork and data entry as required
- Follow all ISO procedures and maintain quality standards
- Follow all safety procedures and policies
- Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor and/or Lead Hand
- Team player willing to help out in other departments as required
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of experience.
- Prior experience in a metal/steel manufacturing environment.
- Must have excellent communication skills

Salary: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- Vaughan, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Welding: 1 year (preferred)
