Jardeg is seeking B-Pressure Hand Welders to join us at the CNRL Horizon site. Come be a part of an outstanding team working with industry leaders that have been executing work at the Horizon site for over a decade. Our shift schedule is 7 days on and 7 days off rotation working 11.5 hours per day. This gives our employees a great work life balance with the benefit of an overtime schedule. Overtime is paid at time and a half for anything worked over 8 hours per day and anything worked over 40 hours per week. We have two major turnarounds and several smaller outages throughout the year. Have the benefit of consistent long-term work by joining our maintenance team with the financial benefit of working outages and turnarounds throughout the year if you want the additional overtime.

Flights and accommodations are set up with our people in the forefront. Richardson Camp is the accommodations provided and is within walking distance to the site footprint, so no long commute times added to your day. Every room has a private washroom. The camp has several amenities to enjoy whether it’s starting your day with a nice cup of Starbucks or spending your evening in one of the gyms or playing sports with team hockey games or baseball games or unwinding to a good movie in the theatre room, there is something for everyone.

Increased Rates

CNRL Horizon site has increased CLAC rates effective January 1, 2023.

Welders join or sever metals in beams, girders, vessels, piping and other metal components, make metal parts used in construction and manufacturing plants, and weld parts, tools, machines and equipment.

Responsibilities Include:
Develop patterns for projects or follow directions given in layouts, blueprints and work orders.

Clean, check for defects and shape component parts, sometimes using a cutting torch.

Weld parts together.

Minimum Requirements:
Certified Welding Journeyperson and/or holds a valid recognized credential

ABSA B-Pressure Certificate

F3-F4 Welding Procedure

CSO (Common Safety Orientation) or CSTS-09

Confined Space Entry (OSSA or ESC equivalent)

Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection (OSSA or ESC equivalent)

Valid Government Issued Identification

Valid Drivers Licence and 3 year Drivers abstract

Preferred:
F6-F5 (Stainless)
