FBS Welder

DIS-TRAN Packaged Substations is looking to hire a Factory-Built Substation (FBS) Welder to work from our Port of Alexandria Facility. The FBS Welder produces high quality 2Fand 5F Fillet Welds, and 6G Groove Welds with Aluminum Bus Pipe, is capable of reading and understanding welding symbols, and prepares all joints as required by established process procedures. The FBS Welder performs cutting, fitting, and welding of aluminum bus pipe and cable jumpers. The Welder performs duties with speed and accuracy in order to produce a quality product and keep a steady flow of productivity.
