MoboTrex has an opportunity to join our growing organization as a full-time 2nd shift Welder at our location in Pflugerville, TX. The primary objective is to weld various sheet metal products (aluminum and or stainless steel) in accordance with engineering drawings to produce welded sub-assemblies or finished enclosures. Days and hours of work are Monday to Thursday from 4:30 pm to 3:00 am. Work indoors in a climate-controlled environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Must be able to read engineering / specification drawings to obtain information regarding welding dimensions
Must be able to perform Gas Metal Arc (MIG) on .06 – .187 thick Aluminum and Stainless-Steel material.
Must be able to perform Tungsten Metal Arc (TIG) on .06 – .187 thick Aluminum and Stainless-Steel material.
Able to set, adjust, regulate and maintain MIG and TIG welding equipment.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must be able to read, write and speak English to a satisfactory level. Employee must have their own welding hood.
Education and/or Experience:
High school diploma/GED and 2-4 years of welding experience. American Welding Society (AWS) Certified Welder preferred. Welding test required at interview.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Knowledge of AWS D9.1 sheet metal welding code
Must be able to pay attention to detail consistently.
Must be able to work in a team environment.
Knowledge of various metals, aluminum, stainless
Knowledge & skill with basic sheet metal shop equipment
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to sit; talk or hear; and use hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee is required to use hands repetitively.
The employee must occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perceptions and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 4:30 pm am to 3:00 am. Occasional overtime including weekends may be required.
