Requisition Summary
Evening Shift Schedule: Monday-Friday 3:00pm-11:30pm
Performs all position welding on various sizes, shapes, and structures. Requires broad knowledge of welding technology, working under minimal supervision. This position is located in McKinney, TX and pays $24.04- $33.41 DOE (depending on experience).
Position involves standing up to 8-hours per day
Use of hand, pneumatic and vibratory tools
Use of machines with moving and cutting parts
Push/pull/lift/carry can involve up to 75 lbs.
May require repetitive wrist movement
Ability to read and write English and be able to follow written and oral directions found on items such as build papers
Must have excellent manual dexterity
Job Functions / Responsibilities
Perform aluminum welding operations
Manufacture product that meets quality requirements
Inspect and verify work prior to submitting for inspection
Keep equipment clean and maintain proper fluid levels
Make routine decisions and use problem-solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance
Welds on all types of metals and alloys in various sizes, shapes and on diversified assemblies, products, or structures
Produce welds subject to x-ray analysis, magnaflux inspection, dye check and/or gas tight pressure or other tests
Education
GED/HS Diploma required.
Weld Certification preferred.
