Journeyman Welder/ Apprentice (2nd or 3rd year)

National Tank Services (a division of Trimac Transportation) is looking for an experienced Welder for our shop in Edmonton, AB. Pay:
Journeyman starting pay $ 43.87per hour plus shift premiums

Hours:
Monday to Thursday

8:00 PM to 6:30 AM

Job Details:
Repairs to tanks and trailers including suspension fit-up and welding and component fabrication for aluminum, stainless, and steel.

When not welding assisting with preventative maintenance – checking tires, wheels, brakes, air systems, electrical systems, PM’s, electrical work, brakes, and suspension.

Follow safe work procedures and use proper PPE.

Experience/Requirements:
Two years of verifiable welding experience – SMAW, GMAW, and GTAW all positions.

Operation of hand and air tools.

Must be physically fit and reasonably strong enough to perform required duties.

Your Profile:
Grade 12 or equivalent.

Positive work ethic and attitude.

Journeyman certification or Apprentice 2nd or 3rd year.

Dual welding/ HET certification is considered an asset.
