Overview
Hansen Industries is looking to hire an experienced Welder/Fabricator to work in our Sheet Metal Shop for our afternoon shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, adjust, operate and clean welding equipment, when needed
- Follow job router drawings and other written or verbal instructions
- Inspect completed welds
- Repair faulty products using welding procedures
- Competence in operating GTAW/TIG and GMAW/MIG welding
- Ability to weld various thicknesses of material
- Help in other areas
- Maintain a safe work environment
Qualifications & requirements:
- Working experience in the Manufacturing environment
- Minimum C level – ticket
- Ability to read and comprehend shop drawings and blueprints
- Able to weld mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum with GTAW/TIG and GMAW/MIG
- Creative and willing to learn
Shift Availability:
- Afternoons from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am
- Monday to Thursday (Transit Available until 1:30 am)
- Shift can be changed to 2:00 pm to 12:30 am, for transit users
- Friday, Saturday, and overtime available
