Overview
Matrix Metal is looking for a qualified and experienced afternoon shift shop foreman with exceptional skills and knowledge to become a part of our growing team. A min of 15 years of shop fabrication with a focus on the ability to interpret drawings and efficiently layout, fabricate, weld, and build items correctly. Experience welding and polishing light gauge stainless steel material, Mig/Tig welding of Aluminum, and Stick/mig/flux core welding of Steel are also required skills
The candidate should be capable of moving and storing material using forklifts. Capable of lifting up to 50lbs at a time. Capable of working 10 hour days and overtime on the weekends when required. The shift is 4/11s monday to thursday. 3pm to 2:30am. one hour crossover with day shift.
We are a custom shop working on things like guard rails, hand rails, Stairs, misc. Stainless items, Smaller Structural assemblies, and platforms, Carts, ramps, racks, planters etc. We have a no BS get it done properly mentality and pay well for exceptional skills and abilities. The ideal candidate would be capable of following instructions as well as giving instructions

Fall protection and Scissor lift/ Genie lift tickets or experience are also preferable assets.
CWB welding ticket is also necessary and if you do not have it you will be expected to test and pass in a timely manner in order to ensure your employment with us. We will be a CWB certified shop in about 6 months.
