Our client has been crafting the finest fencing and gate products for over 20 years, and is looking to enhance their production team!

Are you a dedicated individual who thrives in fast-paced role? With a high level of concentration and a drive for high performance, Nuvo Iron, located in Bolton, ON is seeking experienced Shipper/Receivers for the warehouse, as well as Welders to join their production team.

Shipper/Receiver:

If you are applying for the Shipper/Receiver role, you will report to the Warehouse Manager, and be responsible for, but not limited to:

· Ensure all parts, products, and materials, are shipped and received while performing general warehouse duties

  • Prepare shipments for delivery by affixing identifying information and shipping instructions, inspecting products against work orders
  • Pack items as per procedures ensuring products loaded are properly protected
  • Wrap palletized shipments, store and organize multiple orders in preparation for carrier pick-ups
  • Load and offload products, materials, and supplies as per shipping and receiving procedures
  • Inspect all shipments received for damage, and reject damaged products as needed
  • Count and organize multi-piece shipments and store products in their designated locations
  • Report any issues which may impede on shipping accuracy or any discrepancies between packing slips and actual inbound and escalate accordingly
  • Maintain all product levels, supplies, equipment, etc. and ensure warehouse is clean and organized.

Welder for Production:

If you have welding experience, you’d be an ideal candidate to support the following job functions:

Gate/Panel Building:

· Review production order to ensure materials and supplies are available

· Cut metal on custom orders, gather and fabricate the material, assemble the parts, and perform quality control to ensure the pieces fit well together and materials are free from defects

· Place prefabricated pieces in jigs for welding and set the pickets in the rails and on the jigs

· Weld the parts and components together to produce the final product

· Complete and submit the production order paperwork to confirm order completion

· Prepare the completed orders for delivery for paint shop

· Place labels and tags on completed products to ensure order accuracy

· Strap skids, move product to designated locations

Robotic Programming;

· Change profile settings to create different style fences

· Program each step into the robotic weld as per production order

· Test the weld to ensure the program is set correctly, troubleshoot and modify as needed

· Manually touch up on panel weld, as required

· Perform general and preventative maintenance on robotic weld and replace small parts

As a warehouse environment, the position involves,

· Bending, lifting, pulling, and stretching required throughout day; moving product throughout the warehouse; hands on role with ability to stand for long periods of time

· Lifting objects up to 50lbs

  • Moderately high-pressure environment with a varied pace of work depending on the season
  • Team-based and friendly environment; must be able to build rapport easily with team.

Salary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
