What You’ll Do
As a Welder you’ll be part of our team located in Two Harbors, MN. You’ll get to:
- Perform GMAW/MIG/Wirefeed welding to AWS D1.1. standards
- Layout, fit-up, measure and tack weldments prior to finish weld.
- Arc air welding (experience beneficial, will train).
- Assist in documenting standard work procedures and provided feedback and suggestions to continuously improves the quality of manufacturing processes.
- Closeout shop orders and follow production schedule to facilitate timely part delivery/availability
- Maintain safe and organized work area including end of shift clean up in accordance with 5S standards.
- Perform TPM (total productive maintenance) and 5S activities.

You also have:
- Knowledge of basic weld symbols on blueprints. Arc air welding (experience beneficial, will train).
- Basic computer skills, MS-Office
- Comfortable and knowledgeable use of standard repair and hand tools
- Able to use a tape measure, level, angle finders and squares
- Ability to handle all materials safely using a Jib hoist, overhead crane, and forklifts, including lifting devices (chains, straps, slings).
