Cobalt Industries is hiring a full-time welder to join our growing team. We are a dynamic, entrepreneurial metal fabrication company with customers all over Manitoba.

Responsibilities:

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Cutting and shaping metal using hand and power tools
  • Welding using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and Stick
  • Fabricating metal components using bending, rolling, and cutting techniques
  • Grinding and polishing metal surfaces
  • Assembling and fitting metal components
  • Performing precision measurements to ensure accuracy
  • Following all safety protocols and procedures

Education and Experience

To qualify for the Welder / Fabricator position with our company, you must have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Welding certification preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in welding and metal fabrication
  • Knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
  • Commitment to safety and continuous improvement

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $27.00-$35.00 per hour
