Are you looking to advance your career in the sheet metal industry? At VETS GROUP our Sheet Metal fabrication department specializes in industrial and heavy commercial/institutional ventilation projects (new construction) in Edmonton and northern Alberta.
We are looking for experienced Journeymen Welder to grow our Edmonton shop team.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
- Motivated, dynamic & industrious with “can-do” attitude
- Journeyman Welder ticket, sheet metal with experience in galvanized, hotrolled mild steel.
- Must Have stainless steel experience.
- Experience with overhead crane and rigging
- Forklift and telehandler experience an asset
- Candidates must have experience in blowpipe type shop work (16 ga-1/4″ material)
- Fitting up, shear and rolling tacking and welding experience will absolutely be considered.
