Come grow with us…North American Stamping is expanding and looking to hire. We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to join our team! As a key Leader of the Production Management team, this position is responsible for the management of the overall production and tooling activities in their assigned division. This position will encourage others to seek process opportunities addressing problems through a different & innovative approach leading to improving productivity and tooling systems through TQPS. Make critical decisions while following company procedures.

The position duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Lead, coach, train and coordinate team’s work to accomplish weld and company goals.
- Collaboratively work with a cross functional team to schedule Weld production.
- Coordinate weld repairs and troubleshooting with Maintenance and Tool Room.
- Assist in setting up and minor troubleshooting of weld cells.
- Operate weld production equipment as required.
- Effectively hand off weld status and information to the next shift.
- Complete first off, last off final audit inspection of all parts leaving weld area for quality.
- Set up and change over all weld production equipment.
- Operator forklift truck as required.
- Conduct inspection destruct at designated times.
- Conduct preventative maintenance of welding and set-up equipment.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications we are looking for include, but are not limited to:
- Experience in weld, including setting-up and minor troubleshooting.
- Previous leadership experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus .
- Superior interpersonal skills to work effectively as a team.
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in English.
- Strong organizational, analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to function both independently and with good judgment in a team environment.
- Ability to lift up to 25lbs, stand and walk on a continuous basis.
Ideal Candidate will have:
- Previous leadership experience.
- Previous weld experience.
- TPQS training.
