Overview

Southfield Windows & Doors is an industry leading company in the Window & Door manufacturing industry. Southfield is seeking a highly motivated Window Fabricator to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a passion for the industry and a proven track record of delivering high-quality workmanship in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Create a positive work environment for fellow shop workers
  • Oversee production jobs to ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner
  • Build custom windows to meet client specifications
  • Couple windows together to form larger units
  • Use a mitre saw and table saw to cut materials to precise measurements
  • Lift windows and other materials as required
  • Assist in loading and unloading materials
  • Help other stations with production as needed

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of experience in window fabrication
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Experience with mitre saw and table saw
  • Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 100lbs)
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
