Overview
PCL Energy is seeking Ticketed Journeyperson B Pressure Welders by hand only for our MEGlobal Pre-Shutdown and Turnaround Work project in Prentiss, Red Deer.
Starting May 8th and May 15th until June 6th – These days are subject to change
Work Conditions & Remuneration:
$50.36 / hr. base pay
Plus Retention bonus of $5.00 per hour worked
LOA outside 100km $165 per day worked
Travel allowance up to $482.00 outside 100Km Maximum Total
Travel $30.00 per day within 100km
Pre turnaround 4/3 – 10 hours per day
Turnaround 11-hour shifts for a 2-week duration- Subject to change
During the outage, all breaks will be paid breaks
Rate inclusive of Vacation and Stat pay
Plus 4% RSP contribution
Plus 4% Matching Pension
Must be able to work outside in various types of weather conditions
Safety training provided
Weld qualifying tests will be required – F3-F4 SMAW, F6-F5 GTAW/SMAW, F6 GTAW (MAX)
Strong in Carbon, Stainless, and Duplex steel welding.
