Overview
Plastics Welders/CNC
This position sets up, operates, and maintains plastic welders & computerized CNC table router equipment. In this department, custom plastic liners for the dump truck industry are made.
Requirements:
- Proven ability to follow standards, rules, policies, work instructions, directions
- Ability to operate hand held tools – saws, routers, measuring equipment – tape measures
- Have a quality and detail focus
- Previous experience in a manufacturing setting
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm under pressure/deadlines
- Good communication skills
- Previous experience operating CNC equipment, able to make tool changes, small program changes, read blueprints, diagrams, etc.
- Physically able to lift, push, pull, stand on a concrete floor, kneel, crawl, grip, pinch, crouch
- Valid forklift license or experience – experience with long / extension forks
Shifts:
Permanent, Full Time Position
- Days/Afternoons, rotating every 2 weeks
- Will go to 12-hour continental rotation of days and nights, 7 – 7, 4-week rotation
Rate of Pay
Depending on knowledge, skills, abilities, experiences both work and educational the rate starts at $19.14 – $24.82
