SB Simpson is hiring!
We are an Industrial Distributor that has been family owned and operated for almost 60 years! We are in search of band saw welder – note that this is NOT your regular mig/tig welding, this is spot welding through an annealing process on our band saw machines. We have the coil material in house and we weld band saw blades to size at our customers’ request. Finishing up with some grinding to smooth out the weld as well.
Position is Monday-Friday, 9:00-5:00.
Job Description:
- Welding band saw blades to size in house as needed
- Helping out in our warehouse with various tasks as time permits such as picking/ packing orders, putting away stock
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be very detail oriented and take pride in producing quality product; responsible for maintaining a clean work environment and keeping machines in tip-top shape
- Willing and able to do repetitive work on a daily basis
- Able to lift at least 50lbs
- Protective equipment must be worn (safety glasses, gloves)
- Ideal candidate doesn’t necessarily need experience but must be mechanically inclined, have excellent attention to detail and enjoy repetitive work.
