Overview
Experienced TIG Welder – 2nd shift
- Welds a variety of fabricated parts, structural steel and related materials in accordance with established engineering and manufacturing specifications to produce commercial weldments within reasonable and/or expected time frames.
- Accurately sets and maintains TIG welding machines to required heat and amperage.
- Cuts, forms, deburs, punches, and shears a variety of metal materials.
- Sets up and operates all required manually controlled fabrication machinery and hand operated tools.
- Regularly lift/move up to 25 pounds; frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds.
- Uses overhead crane and moving equipment from pallet jack through forklift.
- Must be familiar with blueprints
- Must be able to continuously produce a leak proof product
- Must be able to perform basic math functions to include converting fractions to decimals and vice versa
- Must be able to read a tape measure
- Able to follow procedures from assembly drawings
- Reliable transportation
