Full Job Description

CTJ Energy is hiring full time TIG/MIG welders to weld stainless steel, aluminum and regular steel. TIG/MIG welders must pass a welding test at the time they are hired. They must have a minimum of 3 years TIG/MIG welding experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Read engineered drawings, layout, cut and fit pipe and structure per drawings
  • TIG/MIG weld stainless steel, aluminum and regular steel custom and standard products based on the specifications of the drawings
  • Checks specific component for proper dimensions and quality
  • Communicate with shop manager on problem solving and streamlining methods for products

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES

  • Proficient in TIG/MIG welding of various products and processes
  • Capable of reading drawing and interpretation skills
  • Must be competent in basic math skills, including fractions
  • Must be quality oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Individual must be a self-starter and need minimal guidance on daily task.
  • Individual must possess a working knowledge of equipment with respect to preventive maintenance and control settings to obtain maximum efficiencies
  • Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
