Overview

We are currently taking resumes/applications for an EXPERIENCED Fluxcore Welder/Fitter for the Morgan City, La and surround area. This is not an entry-level position, and candidate should have a solid understanding of some of the following:

  • Welding baskets and containers
  • Must be able to fluxcore weld and fit to qualify
  • Working 45 hours a week
  • Long term full time
  • Pay depends on experience
  • Excellent math skills with ability to efficiently read a tape measure
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrate strong work ethic
  • Demonstrate consistency in quality of work
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 LBS
  • Must be able to stand, bend, stoop, squat, or kneel regularly, as well as climb stairs and ladders to complete tasks.
  • Must be able to pass a physical & drug screen.
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must have own welding shield and PPE (hard hat, steel toes, gloves, & safety glasses.)
  • Must have own Hood & shirt
  • Must be able to read and understand blueprint drawings.
