Overview
- Candidate must be able to pass 2G weld test
- Candidate must be able to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings
- Good verbal communication skills
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical degree or certification a plus
- Must pass a background check
- Welding fabracation experience is required
- Plasma / Torch cutting experience required
- Must be able to operate forklift and overhead crane
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing work schedules
- Ability to read shop drawings
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Follow all company’s welding procedure
- Follow all company safety procedures
- Complete tasks assigned in a timely manner with little supervision
- This is a 2nd shift position. 3:30 – Midnight
