Dinsmore Fabricating was first established in 2012. During our time in business has developed a reputation for creating solutions in multiple industries that are unique to us, we seek not only do the best work we can each project. As our company continues its steady grow we are seeking Certified Millwrights as well as 3rd/4th year apprentices for immediate full-time employment.
Recognizing the shortages and high demand of this profession, we know that many qualified people in the industry that are seeking a work environment that helps each employee improve their craft as well as see projects carried through from start to finish. We do our best to foster growth in all our employees, with strong teamwork being the core of success.
Job Overview: Metal fabrication, Onsite maintenance, equipment install / removal
Qualifications:
– Welding & fabrication experience
– Perform routine maintenance work on all machinery
– Repair or replace defective machine parts and equipment.
– Assemble machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment
– Install, align, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to plan layouts
– Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical equipment
– Identify and troubleshoot machine irregularities and breakdowns
– Read blueprints, diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures
What we are looking for:
– Completion of a recognized apprenticeship, an Ontario Certificate of Apprenticeship, and a Certificate of Qualification or equivalent is required
– Strong work ethic and a problem solver
– Welding & fabrication experience will be an asset;
– Flexible to work on occasional changing shift structures; weekends, overtime and off shift work
– Must have a valid Drivers License and own vehicle
