AGI Westeel has an opening for a Metal Fabrication Production Worker to join our dedicated and supportive production team.
A leading supplier of the highest quality fuel storage products, AGI Westeel Tisdale provides a safe, reliable and fast-paced work environment. This is a full-time position which requires:
· Proven ability to work safely in an industrial setting
· Prior experience in cutting metal
· An understanding of blueprints, specifications, measuring techniques and drawings
· The use of breaks, saws, shears, iron workers, and pipe benders accurately and independently
· Ability to recognize and differentiate various metals used during fabrication
· Forklift operation
· Monitoring steel inventory to ensure minimum supply is always available
· Evaluation of regular maintenance for cutting equipment
· Operating machinery in the preventative maintenance program
· Effective oral and written communication
· Exemplary attendance record
