ClearStream is looking for a Welding Maintenance Planner that holds a Journeyman Welding and or Journeyman Pipefitter certificate with five years’ experience.
This is a temporary position located in the Calgary area on a client site. It is anticipated to start in November 2021 and last until May 2022.
What you do:
Provide and deliver all outage planning and execution deliverables. Attend scope review meetings, reviewing the plan/schedule ahead of time and provide inputs accordingly.
Estimate and develop Workface Plans, equipment/tools, PPE, and logistics support.
Support field activities as required.
Effectively communicate planned work at the beginning of each shift with the Superintendents and Foremen. Execution of work in a timely manner.
Who you are:
Strong mechanical estimating capability
Solid working knowledge of Workface Planning.
Technically competent with various software programs which include MS Projects and MS Office.
Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients and suppliers and vendors.
Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
What you bring:
Journeyman Welder or Pipefitter Certification
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in maintenance, turnarounds, shutdowns.
CSTS
Technical expertise in the mechanical/piping sector including long term maintenance executions, operations co-ordination, equipment management, cost estimating and bid development.
Experience and ability to read and interpret Request for Proposals including technical mechanical/piping drawings and utilize MS Office software (Estimating, Scheduling and Project Management Programs).
