Founded in 1996, MUM Industries, Inc. is the parent company to a diverse group of industrial product manufacturers: Integra Enclosures, StrongBox, and All-Flo Pump Co. With six locations across the globe, MUM Industries provides the products and services how our customers need it, where they need it and when they need it.

StrongBox was founded in 1985 to meet the need for weather and vandal resistant enclosures. In 1991, StrongBox joined V.I.T. Products, Inc., a leading manufacturer of tree support products, to provide the highest level of quality products and services in the landscape and irrigation industry.

Today, StrongBox is a division of MUM Industries, and a leader in Stainless Steel and Aluminum enclosures, specializing in service pedestals, backflow and pump enclosures, and cabinets for DOT applications. Our main office and factory is located in Escondido, California (San Diego County) with representation throughout the United States and Canada.

Role and responsibility as follows:

The hours for this position is Monday-Friday 11:30AM-8:00PM

Have thorough understanding of TIG Welding fundamentals and operation.

Must have ability to weld carbon and stainless steel material effectively.

Must have ability to produce quality welds on a variety of materials as needed.

Set-up and maintain equipment, settings, gas, choosing proper rod, proper fitting, and weld techniques.

Read drawings and measure with gage’s, calipers etc. per instructions.

Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces as directed.

Follow work instructions and maintain consistent fitting and welds as directed.

Maintain organized, clean work area.

Operate safety equipment and use safe work habits.

Maintain consistent weld quality per first article approval.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
