Stainless Steel Sheet Metal Welder (Shop)

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

A minimum of 36-months with 24-months of EAS welding experience is required before an employee will be considered for a Tech Level 4 Position. Previous sheet metal fab experience is acceptable in lieu of the minimum time period, provided that the employee demonstrates the ability associated with their position. However, at this level the employee must know all procedures and processes necessary to Fit-Up, assemble, and complete any parts, regardless of the material. At this level, an employee must be willing to work in teams, by themselves, train a new employee, or handle multiple welding tasks, and any other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

EDUCATION:

• High school diploma or GEC
• 3-years past experience in tig, stick welding.
• Familiarity with all metals.
• Must be able to pass visual welding test/written basic skills test.
