INCENTIVE AND RETENTION ALERT!

Temporary incentive and retention program effective until July 1st, 2022:

The Incentive Program consists of an additional $60/day for this position – paid weekly. To receive incentive, “days worked” will be defined as minimum 4 hrs of work on site.

The Retention Program offers an additional $20/day, paid by July 1st, 2022 (or following corresponding pay period), or upon release by the employer (end of project).

Heartland Constructors Inc. is seeking a B-Pressure Welder – Journeyperson to join the team at IOL Kearl. The duration of work is temporary, but open to extension.

Minimum Requirements:
Journeyperson Certificate of Completion in the Welding trade

Construction Safety Training Systems (CSTS-09 or 2020) Certification

Fall Protection

Aerial Work Platform

Confined Space

Overhead Crane and Basic Rigging

First Aid – Level A or C

Valid Driver’s License

Welding tickets and/or welder performance qualification testing required – as per Site’s Performance Qualification testing of welder’s guideline:

B Pressure

F3/F4

CWB FCAW – All Positions

CWB SMAW – All Positions

Responsibilities:
Weld up to 30 inches (FDI) per day when material is available (some welds may be customized while others may be repetitive procedures to complete the work)

Use welding processes such as SMAW and FCAW to weld pressure piping

Follow various company policies and procedures

COVID Requirements:
Anyone accessing the IOL Kearl Site will require full vaccination (full course plus 14 days).
