Pagnotta Inc. is a mid-sized, full service provider of structural concrete, general contracting, construction management, welding and tower crane and hoist services. We have job sites located in Edmonton, AB, Vancouver, BC, Winnipeg, MB and Regina and Saskatoon, SK. We are dedicated to providing value-added construction services to our customers by creating a successful partnership with them throughout the construction process.
We are currently recruiting an active 1st or 2nd Year Apprentice Welder for our Nisku, AB Shop. **Please note, this apprentice has to have a class S classification and will need to pass a CWB weld test **
Duties
Fitting
Read and interpret blueprints
Stick Welding (SMAW), Mig welding (GMAW), and Oxy-Acetelyne Cutting
Custom Fabrication
Tower Crane fabrication and repairs
Structural Welding
Indoor/outdoor welding
Working Conditions
Hours are 6:30 am to 3:45 pm Monday to Friday plus overtime and work on weekends as required.
½ hour unpaid lunch break per day, one 15 minute break.
Exposure to cold/hot weather. Combination of inside and outside work.
Appropriate dress required for weather conditions.
Exposure to noise, dust, pollution.
Exposure to hazards such as heights, power tools, slips, trips, falls, falling objects, sharp hand tools.
Ability to stand, crouch and kneel for long periods of time.
Physically fit with good manual dexterity.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Will need to have their own welding mask, steel toe boots, leather sleeves, had hat that is compatible with a welding helmet and safety glasses.

Educational Requirements
1st or 2nd year apprentice preferred
Have to have a class S classification and will need to pass a CWB weld test
Compensation & Benefits
$23 – $27 per hour
Employer paid health and dental benefits after 90 days
RRSP matching up to 4% after 90 days
