Overview

Foremost is looking for a Junior Quality Control Inspector to be part of our QC team. As a member of the team you will be responsible for in process inspections on our products. You will be responsible for audit reviews of our in house digital documentation before client inspectors are scheduled, to ensure documents are complete and ready for review.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all products achieve Foremost’s quality standards
  • Perform and/or review all functions relating to both in-process and final inspection of products manufactured
  • Preform inspections, witness testing, inspect and track materials, set-up NDE/testing, and completing all required documentation for those tasks
  • Assist with capturing/reviewing continuous improvements data
  • Work closely with shop personnel to ensure Foremost’s quality standard are met
  • Possess a strong attitude and understanding of accountability

Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in Quality/welding or a related field is a must
  • Experience in mechanical inspections, weld inspections and blue print reading are a must
  • Proficiency with technology including android OS, MS Excel, MS Word, Adobe PDF’s
  • Strong welding and fitting knowledge is a definite asset
  • Be a team player and work well in a team environment
  • Strong attention to details and ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Safety training as asset but will train as required
