QUALIFICATIONS

  • MIG/TIG/CMT welding experience/working knowledge, and the ability to apply that knowledge to the production process (especially welding thin aluminum)
  • Technical schooling in welding, engineering, or equivalent, and/or weld certified.
  • Ability to read and interpret blue prints.
  • Experience with metric standards and use of calipers.
  • Ability to make visual inspections for quality, etc. per defined work instructions
  • Read, write, speak and understand English
  • Dexterity, standing, twisting, bending, lifting up to 40 lbs.
  • Strong organizational habits, ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with a sense of urgency to meet objectives and deadlines
  • Strong Interpersonal skills to include, but not limited to: communication (written and verbal), time management, flexibility, customer focus, resourcefulness, and effective work habits
  • Ability to effectively coach, lead, work within a team, and maintain an environment of harmony. Positive, “can do” attitude a must.
  • Self-motivated and detail oriented.
  • Must be willing to work overtime when needed.

PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Maintain high quality standards and on-time deliveries by operating and supporting the robotic welding processes. Set-up, troubleshoot, changeover, maintain, improve, and operate robotic welding cells. Work together with all operators and support groups to ensure operational readiness of all equipment. Maintain good housekeeping and perform the job in a safe manner.

PRIMARY TASKS

  • Repairing welds from robotic welding process.
  • Perform quality checks/tests to ensure only parts that meet customer approval are produced.
  • Assist with managing welding equipment consumables.
  • Assist with maintaining fixtures and tooling.
  • Ensure assemblies are welded to meet design and specification requirements.
  • Lean focused. Help ensure proper parts flow and quantities required are met.
  • Read and analyze blueprints and engineering documents to adjust process to meet design specifications.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Maintain day to day documentation.
  • Observe prescribed safety and environmental regulations, quality standards, and other standards of operation and conduct.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour
