This schedule is 2:30 pm- 11:00 pm Monday-Friday with some overtime plus a $1.00 and hour incentive for working 2nd shift on top of your normal pay.
The main responsibility of the fabricator/welder will be to comprehend and analyze drawings and fabricate aluminum products which include a variety of overhead canopies, awnings, sub-frames, and other various architectural items. To excel in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of welding machinery, various manufacturing tools and electrical equipment.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Assumes responsibility for:
a. Interpret blueprints, drawings, and measurements to plan layouts
b. Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job
c. Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors
d. Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing safety glasses, heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes
e. Monitor machinery for appropriate usage and temperature
f. Weld components in flat, vertical, and overhead positions
g. Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment
h. Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety
i. Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
j. Attending conferences and/or training seminars as required or needed to maintain proficiency
k. Perform other related duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 – $21.00 per hour
