Job Summary: We have an immediate opening for a highly motivated Welders with a desire to work 4/10 work schedules. 1st shift from 5am to 3:30pm, 2nd shift 3:30pm to 2am, off on Fridays. And a $2000 sign on bonus! APPLY TODAY!!
- Knowledge of weld symbols
- MIG / Fillet weld
- Ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to 3G uphill weld
- Ability to double V groove weld
Minimum Requirements:
- 1+ years of welding experience
Environment/Physical Requirements:
This position is carried out in a weld shop environment and as such has the following physical work requirements:
- Must be able to lift 100lbs
- Must be able to position weld apparatus in any position the work required
- Physical weld testing on site must be acceptable
Written exam: 70 and above is considered a pass.
Physical exam: Depends on weld defects such as weld spatter, undercut, underfill, craters, porosity, uneven leg size, etc.
In the case, that the welder would like to make more than what is offered we administer a 3G uphill test.
Weld written tests consist of
- Reading a tape measure
- Blue print reading
- Weld symbols
Weld physicals test consist of
- Reading a WPS and setting your machine to that WPS
- Fillet Weld
- Double V Groove weld
