Job Description

Required Qualifications
Must qualify for Minnesota State Credentialing in Welding Technology/Welding credential field. For additional information regarding licensure requirements, please refer to the Minnesota State Credentialing Website at: https://www.minnstate.edu/system/asa/academicaffairs/cfc/fields/500129.html
Diploma in Welding.
Four full time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in welding..
Recency Requirement: one year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application in the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) post-secondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
Preferred Qualifications
Five to six years of paid work experience
AWS (American Welding Society) Certified
Supervision experience
Background in material science
Experience with D2L or other online Course Management System.
Understanding of the mission, vision, and core values of a comprehensive two year college.
Experience in curriculum development.
Excellent interpersonal and team building skills.
