Overview

Our client in Mississauga, is looking for an Aerospace Tig Welder who can work closely with Engineering and peers to efficiently produce high quality parts. Critical and Problem-Solving skills are essential.

Pay rate : Starting hourly rate $30/hour (subject to experience)

Shift Timing : We have 2 shifts working 7:00am to 4:00pm & 4:00pm to Midnight.

Responsibilities:

  • Precision TIG welding on various materials
  • Performs TIG welding utilizing a rotary table
  • Regularly evaluates his/her own product quality for continuous improvement.
  • Completes routine and some advanced TIG welding tasks while applying standard practices.
  • Properly prepared weld surfaces.
  • Interprets and follows written instructions, sketches, weld schedules, drawings and documents.
  • Performs all work in accordance with established standards and safety procedures.

Requirements:

  • Ability to TIG weld aerospace components
  • Need experience of min 3- 5 years at equivalent position
  • Basic knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Knowledge of shop math and precision measurement equipment.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Capable of inspecting a broad variety of parts.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

  • Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

  • Welding: 3 years (preferred)
