Aerloc Industries is a manufacturer of aluminum windows, doors and curtain wall glazing systems based in Dundas. In order to continue in our tradition of providing quality products to the commercial, healthcare and institutional markets, we have an immediate opening for a qualified candidate in our manufacturing facility.

Reporting to the shop supervisor, the successful candidate will be involved in all faucets of window, curtain wall and door production including, but not limited to; cutting, prepping, assembly and shop glazing for aluminum windows, curtain walls, doors and other commercial aluminum products supplied to our commercial, institutional and residential projects across Ontario.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate with co-workers and supervisor
  • Assist with inventory of supplies and materials
  • Layout, setup and operate power and hand tools effectively to cut, punch, drill and fasten various products in our indoor facility.
  • Skid and package finished products as required for site delivery.
  • Complete other related duties as assigned. Most activities involve working with aluminum and glass.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work station.
  • Must be able to lift / carry 50lbs on a regular basis.

Candidate Qualifications

  • Completion of secondary school diploma or equivalent is preferred
  • Lift truck license would be considered an asset
  • Experience in aluminum door commercial hardware would be an asset
  • Ability and experience in welding aluminum would be an asset
  • Ability to read productions drawings would be an asset
  • Aptitude for math, measuring, layout and the use of power/hand tools
  • Ability to analyze and troubleshoot basic production and layout issues
  • Candidates must be dependable and punctual

Salary: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
